Oh, how wrong I was. How terribly, terribly wrong.
If they had gotten together at that point of time, I genuinely wouldn’t have cared less for the ship. Why? Because it just seemed like a given that it would happen. I would have been all, “Meh, whatever.” Because I expected it to happen.
And since I expected it to happen so much… And it didn’t? That was a real kick in the guts. Because it seemed like a given, the fact that it didn’t happen… Really hurts. It just… IT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN. It’s almost as if, since it didn’t happen, something is missing.
I wouldn’t ship it if they got together but THEY DIDN’T ASDFGHJKL; AND SO I SHIP IT A LOT.
It didn’t happen… And I wish it did.
It’s… Do you guys get what I mean? It’s the fact that it didn’t happen, and the ship has been through so much hell, until, no matter how much you did or didn’t want it, you end up on the floor begging the author to just give them a break and have them be together already.
I just…!
